Fleeing From Violence

This is some very interesting and extremely helpful information. If you are currently living in a violent environment, there is help for you. You can call the domestic violence hotline in your community for one-on-one advice. The hotlines are very helpful and friendly. They are there for you and understand how hard it is to make the call. You don't have to stay in a potentially dangerous situation.

Below are some hotlines you can call 24 hours a day, every day.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline: call, chat, or text 24 hours every day, 800-799-7233 or 800-787-3224 (TTY)

Teen Dating Violence Hotline: call, chat, or text 24 hours every day, 866-331-9474

The Strong Hearts Native Helpline: call or chat 24 hours every day, 844-762-8483

There are some great resources and advice already online. We have compiled some of the articles that are really helpful. Below are some helpful articles and advice we found on the internet. We haven't worked with any of these organizations at this point so we can't verify their ethics but with that said we think they have the great advice.

Our ministry operates in Washington state so this link is to Washington's Community Action Program guide. Every State that we know of has their own Community Action Program. Just look up Community Action Program for your county and state online and it should come up.

We love you and understand what you are going through you don't have to do this alone. Reach out to these resources and they will help you set up a plan to get help before it's too late.
